"Place was not clean. Bed was not kept clean we found hairs on one of the bed"

"Exceptional hotel with outstanding staff. The visit to the Nordic spa was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend both! We also had the breakfast buffet at Forte and a late dinner at the a bar, both very good."

"The staff were very nice and accommodating. The shuttle drivers were great. The hotel was clean and the room was sufficient, a tad outdated. It appeared they were doing some upgrades. My room had new carpeting and updated furniture, but the walls were bare. It appeared they were working on it one thing at a time. The breakfast was very basic; decent eggs and sausages, plenty of seating. It’s right next to the Alaska Railroad station. Some restaurants are close; ask the shuttle to take you up...

"Clean, comfy room with nice new furniture and a very well appointed bathroom, but super unhelpful desk staff, besides 1 young lady, everyone else, specially at night time, was super unhelpful and wouldn't even try to hide how unbothered and unwilling to help they were. Also, it has been recently renovated so some things ain't working 100%."

"Not clear room types mentioned on expedia. This is more like a motel and very few rooms are available in Hotel area."

"The shower tub was leaking. Only a barely warm shower. Had to ask to have the toilet cleaned when I arrived."

"My boyfriend & I were looking for a lil quaint spot just to wind down for the day…..drove in from Anchorage & the lodge was just what we needed. Room very clean & quiet for the most part(few kids running around outside - lil noisy but that didn’t last long) I will definitely be back"

"Great location in relation to the airport. But, we walked into the first room and there was water dripping onto the floor from ceiling vent. Went and advised the desk and they changed the room. The next room had a beautiful view of the cinderblock wall of an adjacent building. Opened the window and it would not close again."

"Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. Basically the worst hotel i have ever seen. None of the pictures matched from what was shown on Expedia’s website. It was dirty, dusty, and borderline uninhabitable. I had to scramble last minute to book a different hotel which was very hard to find with it being last minute. Please don’t look at the pictures to decide on staying here. It is really really TERRIBLE!! Hopefully, i will get refund since I didn’t stay there."

"I can’t say anything bad about the property but can’t really say anything great about it either It’s a glorified motel 6 but is in a pretty spot on the river. It also seemed very expensive for the caliber of the property. That said, not much in Fairbanks AK so maybe I’m being unfair? They do have a pretty good bar next door, their staff were friendly and courteous. Their breakfast buffet is the same each day, nothing particularly special but filling. Overall I’d give it a 5 of 10"

"Beautiful but very remote location. Far from everything. If you are not a cruise person/ going on the Princess cruise this may not be the place for you. You park far from your building and there is no elevator. There is no microwave or fridge in the room. Nowhere to grab a quick coffee. The restaurants are extremely busy. The tree house is really cute."

"Enjoyed the stay here. Rooms were clean enough, although our room had a wall-in shower for handicap and there was a used towel left behind in the shower. Room had plenty of hot water, they don’t provide microwave or mini fridge but I understand why."

"Don’t waste your money there. Very noisy street right in front. Only thing to eat nearby was domino’s pizza or hot wings. Homeless people walking around asking for help. One staff member was a lady by the name of Anita was very nice, but an old white lady was very rude and disrespectful to me the whole week I was there. Very old motel so do expect nothing very nice. Btw … my prior review is showing 5 stars and that’s not true, someone change it from the 1 star I gave."

"Really nice staff and comfortable beds! Had clean and nice showers and bathroom! Even though they were shared they still felt private and were always available when we needed them. Super affordable and would definitely recommend staying here! It was the perfect location after our long flight into Anchorage."
