"Bathrooms/shower area were exceptionally clean for the resort! Location was amazing right outside of Great Sand Dunes National Park! Sunsets and night skies were out of this world! A few things that made us give 4 stars instead of 5 was staff. Two signs leading into the park clearly say pizza available until 7. We pulled in at 6:35, starving from hiking the dunes, and the front desk staff told us she had already turned off the ovens for the night so she wasn’t going to cook anymore pizza....

"Clean rooms. Older building but fine. Breakfast makes it all worth it!"

"This was a last minute booking but everything went smoothly. We booked one of the tents and had to open it to clear out the canvas smell from being shut up all day but the smell cleared out fast. The only thing I would have requested was to be closer to the shared bathrooms. We were as far away as you could get. Bathroom were clean. Hosts were wonderful. S'mores by the campfire in the evening - what's not to like!"

"Convenient location just off the highway."

"This is a very dated hotel. Our small king room had a tiny private bathroom with a sink that was not big enough to put your face over while washing. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. Breakfast was ok."

"During our two-night stay, there was no room cleaning, and we received no apology for it. It was the worst Best Western I've ever stayed at."

"Clean room, friendly staff, good location"

"The room I reserved was filthy. The pillow cases were covered in dust bunnies. The walls and baseboards were in poor shape. The linen was questionable on whether or not it was clean. The front desk said it had been awhile since the room was used and the only other room with two king size beds was occupied. The front desk contacted the owner and agreed to give me a full refund explaining the process since I booked through a third party. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The hotel was a good choice for our stay. Would recommend the hotel."

"This place was like brand new, everything was clean and well stocked. Staff was very helpful and nice. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was well maintained and stocked, staff ensured that."

"Wonderful place to stay and fabulous hospitality! This apartment is as gorgeous in person as in the photos and Kristen was great to work with. We were there to visit Great Sand Dunes National Park (which was quite unique!) and especially enjoyed the amazing dark sky stargazing and the fun retro gaming set-up. Thank you, Kristen!"

"This place is truly a home away from home. The beds are super comfortable, the stars at night are amazing, you can see the Great Sand Dunes from the back deck. One of the best places we have stayed as a family."
