"We stayed at Tabacón for one night, and it was the perfect way to experience the property. The thermal hot springs are absolutely beautiful and feel very natural, with multiple pools and waterfalls surrounded by lush rainforest. It was peaceful, relaxing, and unlike any other hot springs we’ve visited. The grounds are immaculate, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. My only wish is that we had stayed longer...

"Volcano lounge was the first time experience from the water hot thermals the staff was excellent. The food was good and very exotic plants with animals all around which I really enjoyed."

"This place is really wonderful, not regrets. The breakfast was amazing. The pool is great with a swim-up bar. The staff was so helpful. We did eat at the outdoor restaurant one night and it was just ok and a little expensive - kids did enjoy their pasta. Beautiful property to walk around. Couldn’t imagine going back to La Fortuna and not staying here."

"This is definitely a 3 star resort. Nothing about it gives 5 star so please don’t expect it! The staff were sweet and helpful but I’ll tell you to stay here if you would like average over priced American food 😒, WiFi going out every day, an unclean out dated pool, and hard mango’s for a $10 🙄. My family and I spent our last two days at The Spring Resort & Spa at Arenal. It was definitely worth the Money. If you’re looking to enjoy yourself without going out every day this resort is not it....

If you book one of the suites at the top of the property, be ready for a steep 1/4‑mile uphill walk, which can get old fast after a long day...

"Property is a standard stay. Pool is good. But only 1 restaurant. So got bored with the food options. Staff are friendly but had to carry our luggage on our own. Pool and spa is great. Overall a decent stay! I recommend a in room phone or tablet in the rooms."

"We had the 2 bedroom villa with private pool and it was wonderful. The room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was warm, we went to the main pool a few times and it was also warm, perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. I would definitely stay at this property again."
