"5 star stay"

"The location is a great launch point to see smaller towns nearby. Middlebury is a nice town, the inn is charming with friendly staff and a great restaurant. The only downside is the restaurant closes at 8:30 pm however, much of Vermont seems to close down between 5:00 pm and 8:30 pm."

"lovely property, beautiful views."

"The room was large and spacious. There was no hot water. We ran the shower for 10 minutes hoping it would warm up and it was not quite tepid. Wasn't cold but certainly wasn't warm. Told the front desk and they stated that it was an ongoing problem with some of the rooms. The restaurant on the premises that we were looking forward to trying wasn't open the night we were there. Elevator could only be used accompanied by an employee. Needs many updates."

"So conveniently located. Minutes from Rosie’s and town center."

"Every moment was spectacular. Attentive and accommodating staff. Beautiful property."

"Charming, beautifully maintained stay. A great home base for our trip to Burlington and surrounding areas."

"Check-in was a breeze by email or text. So clean you could eat off the floor. BUT. Time for new mattresses."

"Very nice owner and staff. Bar/dining area cozy. Generous breakfast potions."

"Quaint and spacious room. Staff very helpful!"

"This stay and the room was perfect! The breakfast was unique and delicious, and a wonderful way to embark upon our "leaf touring" experience!"

"The innkeepers were friendly and helpful, offering suggestions about things to see in the area. The homemade morning breakfasts were delicious. The inn is "off the beaten track" a bit, which makes it quiet and secluded, but it's not really walking distance to the restaurants and shops in Brandon. Great place for a quiet getaway."

"Such a cute space and area. Will absolutely stay here every time I am in Vermont. Lots of privacy even though there’s a bike trail there. Kitchen area is cute and helpful. Everything was great (outhouse included)"

"Overall great spot and facility. Only suggestion: outdoor shower using solar panels and hot water"

"Cozy log cabin in a nice bush setting. Ideally located for exploring Autumn colours in the region"

"Refrigerator not on and no directions how to turn on. Location was wonderful, full view of milky way. Bed was comfortable, shower a little difficult to maneuver, very very small, but it's in a caboose! Quiet, very near my destination. I would stay again, but be sure to bring water. Tap water not drinkable."

"The cottage was just lovely. Very comfortable. And the host was really nice and helpful. A wonderful stay!"

"Absolutely gorgeous dream of a cottage. Homey, easily understood amenities, everything clearly labeled. Setting - magical. Lovely trails on the property. We had a great time and we would love to return!!"

"For one night stay it was fine. Nice to have more space than just a hotel room."
