"I stayed for 4 weeks at Oakwood in Hangzhou in a one bedroom and really enjoyed the experience. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with a great shower, tub, washer/dryer, full size fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and TV with local channels as well as international channels. The bed was comfortable, and there was ample closet space. The sound insulation was also adequate along with blackout curtains that made sleep time much quieter and darker. The location was good, easy to access to most locations in the city within a 20 min. Didi ride. My husband and child also loved the robot delivery. :D
A few areas to consider for future:
-The concierge could be better. I asked for help with arranging for guided tours, car service, etc., and the staff mostly directed me to use local apps that I don't have. When I pushed further, they did use their own apps to look things up, but I wished that they had more recommendations, resources, etc. to support guests.
-The cleaning routine was a little bit unorganized. Some days they took away a used robe but did not replace it, some days they replaced detergent, toiletries, but some days they did not.
-I wish there was a dresser of some kind - our clothes were spread out over multiple drawers, cabinets, etc. vs. all in one place.
-The dryer does not dry clothes very well, consider upgrading or providing materials for hanging up partially dried clothes.
-While there were cooking pots and pans, there was no oil, salt, etc."
