We never saw the upstairs, because we have difficulty climbing stairs in general, and these were particularly narrow; but our children found the upstairs to be spacious and inviting.As for the downstairs area, it was spacious, inviting, and extremely comfortable in every way, and conducive to gathering in a pleasant atmosphere.The ample parking space was a big plus.The addition of a railing for the high steps leading up to the main entrance would be very helpful for people who are physically challenged.

This property was great! Spacious, clean, and beautiful. The property managers were so easy to work with. We took advantage of the fire pit almost every night. Location was perfect, close to all that Dennis has to offer. Would definitely book again.

Great stay on the Cape!

The house was very clean, great use of space, and the AC was fantastic! Check-in was smooth and communication With the property manager was easy. It was about a 15 minute walk into the center of Dennis for food and shopping, which was great. Easy to find and easy access to Cape offerings!

This is a great location in Dennis! The house is well equipped and there is a nice large, fairly shady backyard! We loved the North Shore beaches (specifically the Mayflower beach) which is a short drive away and great for kids with its warm water and sandbars!

Perfect Dennis Family Vacation

We had a magnificent week in Dennis. Gorgeous property and perfectly appointed interior. Easy walk down the hill to Dennis village and a very short drive to the Dennis beaches. Kids loved in and we would stay again!

Decent stay!

Communication with property management company was very good and when we needed help with issues the turn-around time was quick. The property itself seemed a bit unloved (in some areas) and the yard was not in great shape. I also didn't love being on such a busy street with my family and small dog. I would remove the wall-to-wall carpeting on the stairs and second floor and leave a Welcome Book for guests' arrival with points of interest, takeout menus, etc.

Cute Cape House

This house was super cute and very clean. It was conveniently located. My favorite part was the rooms were not right on top of each other so 5 adults and 2 two year olds fit very comfortably. The place was pretty toddler friendly. We loved the family room and the outside shower. It was a great place. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again.

Great house!

Overall great place to stay! Great location in Dennis. The fire pit was perfect for the cooler evenings. The house was clean and well stocked. Would stay here again on our next trip to the Cape!

Definitely Dennis

The McDonalds' home was beautiful. Del Mar Vacations does a great job of preparing the property and maintaining communication with you throughout your stay. This was a splurge vacation for us -- I wouldn't be able to return to this home in particular, but I would definitely consider Del Mar and a stay in Dennis again.

Solid place to stay

Enjoyed our week. Good location close to Dennis Village. Old Bass River road noise usually eased up by 10:00pm. House could accommodate plenty of people with all the basics covered. Thought the house was wildly over priced for location and comparables even during a COVID year. Wasn’t crazy about the wall to wall carpeting. There were traces of dog hair around the house from previous visitors. House could be better equipped with more dishes, dish towels and bath towels. Kitchen small but adequate for the week. Overall minor things though and a good house.

Great family getaway.

Rental company great. Lukewarm water for 3 days and corrected by Wednesday am. Rugs upstairs are musty . Backyard needs improvement. Tables and chairs were dirty patio was full of debris. I had to clean it all up before we used it. Not my responsibility

Excellent Week Away!

My family and I stayed at this property July 03-July 10, 2021. It was a great experience! The house was updated, modern, spacious, and very nicely decorated with a beachy feel. The kitchen was nicely appointed and the place was spotless. The backyard is private and the large out-door-shower was extremely nice and well kept. The house is very close to Dennis businesses and restaurants (2 minute drive, 10 minute walk). Some of the best beaches in the area are right down the street. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to others! Thank you The James Family

Beautiful, private house in perfect location

The house exceeded expectations. It comfortably slept 8 adults (and my 3 yr old stayed in our king bed with my wife and I). The kitchen is nice and large, the patio space off the kitchen was perfect for night time hangouts and after beach relaxing. The outdoor shower is HUGE. Really big living space as well and both bathrooms were very nice and clean. The location was just as good. We were less than 5 minutes to beaches and within 20 minutes of tons of restaurants and shops and only 15 minutes from Sundae School. We also golfed and there were courses all around the house. You can see a hole from the backyard! Only a couple drawbacks. 1. There are only two TVs that get cable and one is in the master bedroom. So there were a few times when the guys wanted to watch sports, the girls didn’t and the kid wanted his own channels. Another tv or two would help. 2. Garbage cans outside for all your trash are very inadequate. Only 3 small cans are available and we had 8 adults stay there for a week. Packing those cans up was a task the last day. 3. 9am checkout is tough for any vacation let alone a beach one where you have to pack the car up with all your beach equipment. I get it, a lot of houses need to be turned over for the next renters but it forced us to spend most of our last night packing so we could be out by 9am. Check in isn’t until 4, I think a 10-10:30 checkout would be reasonable. Overall I would 100% recommend this house to anyone. We had a great time and would rent again if we come back to the cape.
