"We had a lovely stay at Club Quarters. We stayed here as we had a wedding nearby, it was the perfect base, with a comfy bed, nice and clean with a good breakfast. Mariana (I believe was her name - sorry I lost the card with the name on!) was incredibly helpful. We asked to leave our bags and use a room to freshen up prior to the wedding and she was able to check us in early so we could use our room and leave our stuff there instead. "Avoid! Club Quarters Hotel Covent Garden / Holborn. We had no advance notice there would be disruptive work on the hotel and found the lobby was half closed for various work in rooms and the floors. I asked if the drilling or hammering would stop on Saturday and Sunday. We were assured by the man on the front desk that was the case. But the noise started at from 8:30am on Saturday. The walls are paper thin, anyway, and you can hear your neighbour quite easily. in fact, the room was just weird....

"Staff was helpful every day of our stay. We had to change rooms -- first was odiferous; second was noisy; but the third was just right. Nalid, Jake abd Bianca were stellar. The Grand Hotel side of the building is preferable to CQ rooms (the latter need updating). The A/C worked in each room during a mjor heat wave. The lounge was quiet and well-equipped with tea and coffees. The free water was a huge bonus as well. We loved our 9-day stay. We hope to return next year."
