"We were so impressed by the kindness and flexibility during our stay. They accommodated an early check-in, had all of our luggage from our previous hotel waiting in our room, and even included thoughtful touches (handwritten welcome note). The hospitality was exceptional and made this one of our favorite travel experiences. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!"

"Upea pieni Luxury/boutiquehotelli, jossa koko asunto samassa! Upea ja fantastinen henkilökunta, apua sai aivan kaikkeen! Pesukoneelle oli käyttöä. Ainoa miinus oli että suuret ikkunat antoivat joelle, jossa satamäärin paikallisia ja turisteja hyppelemässä kivillä, et voi kulkea yöpuvussa verhojen ollessa auki! Upea japanilainen aamupala ja täydellinen design-keittiö japanilaisilla veitsillä ja viinikaapissakin hyvät juomat!"

"I loved how authentic the experience felt and looked, curated by such amazing and sweet souls. "

"Everything was perfect at the hotel. The only thing that I didn’t particularly like is the location, as I didn’t feel it is very centered."

"Location is next to aeon mall"

"Excelente ubicación, el personal del hotel muy amable ,el desayuno buffet, el steak house y la panadería extraordinarios , en general, una estancia inolvidable. Gracias"

"We stayed in Room number one. It was incredible. It was such a wonderful experience to stay in a historic building that had modern amenities and a lot of space. The room decorations and sliding doors were beautiful. The living room overlooks the garden. Everything was clean. It was nice to have the communal food area to grab coffee in the morning and a light meal. Be aware that the room entrance for the room is right next to the lobby. There are stairs to climb to get up to the room. We will...

"The person that checked us in at the check in counter was amazing"

"located around prime attractions"

"Easy walking distance from the Nijo station. The on-site bath/onsen is a bonus."

"Great for solo travelers with a car. The covered parking is convenient and the staff was polite."

"Lovely place to stay in an area of Kyoto that’s close to a few large, beautiful shrines. Really great room complemented by a wonderful, helpful staff. Would love to stay here again!"

"I found the hotel pretentious and expensive for what it is. So it’s the hotel brand that’s not appealing to me. The location near buses and the subway is excellent. The restaurant right next store is very special. The staff is efficient but not very personal like the other hotels and ryokans I’ve stayed at for the last 2.5 weeks."

"Laundry was a nice option to have in the middle of our vacay. Super close to the castle and reasonably close to metro and bus stop to make getting around easy."

"The place was excellent. The place is located next to a fantastic park, and close to the train station. The only thing you would have to consider if you are planning on transferring your luggage to your next destination is that they don’t have that service there. You would have to go to a Yamamoto location to transfer your luggage. Plan accordingly because they don’t have same-day delivery."
