"We really enjoyed our stay at the Victorian Inn. The room was spacious and overall it was pretty quiet. Breakfast had a good variety and we really had a good time at the wine and cheese happy hour both days we were there. If we come back to Monterey, we would definitely stay here again. We alsshe had a good time too. The hotel provided a pack and play, which worked out so well.d a toddler and it worked out so well. The staff was helpful and friendly."

"Nice staff, clean, Modern room"

"The hotel is centrally located, and the staff are incredibly helpful. During this past stay, there were so many dogs around the hotel (including the restaurant), that I thought there may be some sort of an event taking place. I understand pet-friendly policies, but I am not sure it is the right place for everyone, and it is explains why the rooms look run down."

"Place was in rough shape. Some structural posts deteriorated in our deck area. Building was not well maintained and unit was not clean or well kept. This is the first (not positive) review I’ve ever written. Low price, descent breakfast. Will not stay there again."

"Very disappointing experience. I paid for my hotel room on October 20th, yet the hotel charged me a second time for the same stay. Despite bringing this issue to their attention, I was unable to get my money refunded. This caused unnecessary stress and frustration and ultimately ruined part of my trip. Nobody should have to deal with being charged twice for a room they’ve already paid for, especially while traveling and trying to enjoy their vacation. The lack of resolution and customer service...

"Nice and clean, the smart mirror in the bathroom was a bit too much, wish you could block the mirror when using the shower. Also note you can dim the lights in the side of the bed, didn't realize till the morning. Would definitely stay again though. Maybe get a sheet or something to cover the huge mirror."

"Stayed five nights in basement room. Entire house has a distinctive Victorian flair. A full cold breakfast is served ... yogurt, berries, croissants, bread, jam, coffee, sweet rolls, etc. Afternoon wine and eats are nice ... mixed nuts, chocolate, dried berries ... wine pretty basic. Small chocolate cookies for later in the evening. TV channels very basic. Extremely well located. All staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again."
