"Amazing stay for visiting the nearby parks Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great with a good selection, very walkable area, and laundry room was even more convenient! **I highly recommend Redwood Adventures if you’re visiting the area to explore the redwoods. Multi adventure will have you riding a bike down the old highway 1 and floating the gorgeous Smith River with a beach picnic!!!"
"We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the harbor and some marsh wildlife.
The real gem here is the complimentary breakfast in the morning. It was much better and abundant selection than I was expecting. I had thought maybe it would be some pastries, maybe yogurt and coffee, but there was also cereal, eggs, sausages, potatoes, cereal, fresh fruit, and juice! This was a great stay for a family traveling on a budget!"
"There are lots of great points about this property but a couple of drawbacks as well. The room (and landing area) is very provisioned with amenities - there is microwave, fridge-freezer, boiling vessel, crockery and cutlery. As well as hairdryer, bathrobes and plenty of towels. The property is at the end of a graded road (not paved) this was no problem for us but some may not like that. Accessing the property requires a door code which wasn’t sent to us in advance but there was a phone number on the door - the call was answered quickly and we got the code without a problem. The room was large and we had a balcony, which was lovely. The room could have done with a good vacuum, as there was quite a bit of dust gathering (however as I live an old cottage in England I know that old properties can be challenging to keep dust free all the time). By the way all the cafes and restaurants mentioned in the description are in Crescent City."
