“Sandy Beach House Cowes” is a delightful double-storey family home in Cowes just 150m from the beach in Cowes, and an easy 10 minute walk (or 3 minute drive) to the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs is the large Living Room (with smart 55" TV), central Kitchen with open plan Dining Room, the small second Living Room (with DVD player & 37" TV) and Laundry (with washing machine, a separate Toilet & access to the rear yard). There is also direct access into the double Garage from the second Living Room. Upstairs is Bedroom 1 which features a WIR and ensuite (with shower & toilet), Bedroom 2 & 3 (each with BIR), a bathroom (with bath & shower) plus a separate Toilet.

Outdoor Areas

The newly built rear covered pergola area (with gas BBQ, tables & chairs for 10 people) overlooks the enclosed rear yard which is perfect for children. There is also an outdoor shower. The double Garage has internal access into the home, and has been converted into a fantastic Games Room (with table tennis table, darts, hookey, bar stools & table, bar fridge & 56" TV). No car parking is available inside the carpet tiled Garage (Jet Skis & motorbikes can fit & there is a rear roller door leading to a large concrete area behind the garage for safe storage). There is space for up to 3 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in front of the Garage & in the driveway.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Delongi Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge (& bar fridge in the Garage), dishwasher, gas oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There is a wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioner in the main Living room, ceiling fans in Bedrooms 1 and 2, a pedestal fan in Bedroom 3, plus three additional stand-alone heaters (stored in the bedrooms) which can be used where required. Please note the gas fire place is not operational.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 6 beds, and 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 10 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One set of Single Bunks and Two Single beds

The main Living room also has a Double sofa bed/divan that can accommodate up to 2 adults or children.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
