"Very well located with a close walk into the walled city. Lovely staff readily available to assist. Bikes at the hotel for rent that enjoyed for an hour or so ride on the wall and down to a cafe for a cappuccino. The pool although quite small was nice to have. Breakfast was excellent and the lady working the coffee bar so very very friendly. Lucca is highly recommended for a 2 or 3 night stay traveling north or south in Italy. A day at a beach club in Viareggio and an afternoon checking out the leaning Tower of Pisa were our day trips. Cheers to Hotel San Marco!"

"We have stayed at Hotel Eden often and always find it a wonderful value and the location can't be beat. Everything was really good except the water pressure was very low especially as you adjusted for a hot shower. Otherwise staff, cleanliness, breakfast all were very consistent as they have been in the past. Thank you!"

"Spa is very tired, there’s a spa pool with various sections that once did something but most of it is not working now, and there are loose tiles and broken switches. Access was included in our room rate but I wouldn’t pay extra if it wasn’t. Staff, including spa as well as reception, pool bar and restaurant are all super helpful and knowledgeable and we love the location, close to Terme Tettuccio as well as the town but far enough away to be peaceful. Hotel is clean, tidy and smells lovely"
