"Clean and very well stocked kitchen. Lots of space for cooking, eating, and hanging out. Even a French press and good coffee. I like to cook most meals so that was a big plus for me. Plenty of space, great internet. We chose it for proximity to Northhouse Folk School. Because it is winter we didn't make use of the outdoor area, but it is built for some privacy. Place was immaculate, beds comfortable, and it was easy to adjust temperature. Be aware there are a few steps inside so it might not be a good option if that is an issue. Bedrooms cozy but were well organized. We didn't use washer or dryer but they are easily accessible. "

"We enjoyed another relaxing and cozy stay at this secluded forest retreat! After spending the day hiking at nearby State Parks and trails off the Gunflint, we loved playing games and reading by the fire. The location by the river is ideal, and it’s so nice to sit on the deck and listen to the water. The cabin is clean and comfortable, and the hosts are responsive. We will be back! "

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Meadows Inn. The property location was perfect — just outside of Grand Marias on a quiet road. The house was cute and so clean! And the furniture was very very comfortable — perfect for our group of 3. The kitchen appliances were like new and we had everything we needed for the meals we ate in. The host was very responsive to our questions. 5 stars for sure!"

"This cabin was close to Grand Marais but far enough away that it was a great, quiet place to come back to after a day of sight seeing. Included a small kitchen with everything we needed to cook some meals. Living room, bathroom, and bedroom all on the same level. Nice screened windows on a porch on 2 sides -- was a great place to sit and read. Nice deck. And a GREAT outdoor shower! Ralph was a great host! I think the surroundings and the quiet made this a great place to stay. Thank you Ralph!"
