The location is great as it is in the middle of everything we wanted to see or walk to! It was a little noisy at night and in the morning as many people were in the piazza at all hours. The air conditioning left much to be desired for how warm it was, but it did take the edge off the heat. The staff was very helpful as we needed to book a water taxi to another part of the lake.

Hotel is in a perfect spot for exploring Como. Very central for restaurants, shops, port and the Lake. Staff were all really helpful. Only tip I’d give is if you are a light sleeper request a room at the back, the front is lovely during the day and having a balcony was lovely, but it is very noisy at night. Definitely recommend this hotel

We had a good sized room at the front of the hotel - absolutely beautiful view of the courtyard!! Large window, black out blinds at night. Great to have a kettle and small bar fridge (it was quite small, though). Bed was reasonably comfortable, pillows quite flat (asked for more and they were supplied). Not sure if flat pillows is a "thing" in Italy?? A/C worked OK - but seemed to struggle to keep up in that room (temperatures in the mid 20's). Asked for an extra fan which really helped move the air around. Shower definitely needs some attention - no proper ledge to keep water from flowing out onto the floor. Asked for shower curtain - none available. Could see that previous water damage had caused issues with the bathroom door. In spite of these issues, I would stay again - great location!!!

The location can't be matched. Very easy to get to and visit Como from the hotel. The only con I have is that the hotel is pretty old and the air conditioning makes noise all the time.

The hotel has a great location. It is within walking distance to city center, ferry terminal. There are restaurants and boutiques in every corner/ street and 1 door down to the hotel. A beauty salon right next door where I did my hair. The staff the best; Irene was Wonderful, compassionate young lady, she was very helpful providing support. We were 4 friends and all of us experienced the same. Then, the ladies at the breakfast area, Rebeca and Dasha, very attentive and friendly. Love that the hotel was right on the plaza. In general it was a great place to stay. Recommended.

This hotel was located in the heart of a lively square close walk to both train stations and the waterfront. Rooms were spotless. Breakfast was great and staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend staying here and I will be back again someday.
