This contemporary duplex apartment, with panoramic views across Lake Como to the mountains beyond, sleeps 6 people. Set in a quiet holiday complex with extensive gardens and a shared outdoor pool, it is the perfect holiday base for a family or friends who want to relax in peace and truly enjoy La Dolce Vita!

The ground floor has an attractive, open-plan living/dining room with a wooden, fitted kitchen. The seating area is furnished with a corner sofa, fireplace and television. The dining area is around the corner and includes a dining table and chairs. The kitchen is next to the dining area and is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and coffee machine.

The apartment has a wide, partly shaded, private terrace that is accessed from the living room. It is furnished with armchairs so that guests can relax and enjoy the lovely views. There is also a dining table and chairs for meals al fresco.

The large shared gardens are delightful and very well-kept, with open lawns and a children’s play area. The shared swimming pool (unheated) has sun loungers for guests to use after a refreshing dip. Next to the apartment is a communal loggia seating area where guests can meet up and where there is Wi-Fi coverage.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The airy master bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a large wardrobe. French windows lead out onto a balcony. A child’s cot is also available.
Bedroom 2: This spacious room has 2 single beds, good storage and the balcony shared with the master bedroom
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Bathrooms
Bathroom 1: The tiled bathroom on the first floor is fitted with a full-size bath, plus a shower, basin, bidet and WC.
Bathroom 2: On the ground floor there is a WC and basin.

Location
The apartment is in a quiet location, surrounded by stunning countryside. Colico is dominated by Mount Legnone and on the shores of Lake Como. There are many beautiful hiking and cycling routes close by. The area is also known for its breezes and is popular for sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing on the lake, just 5 minutes away. Away from the water, there is also horse riding and tennis (5 minutes).

Guests will find all the amenities they need in the town of Colico, including the weekly market on Friday morning selling the freshest local ingredients. There are supermarkets and other shops 6 - 7 minutes from the apartment. The town has several excellent restaurants and bars, as well as a charming lakeside promenade, which is particularly lovely in the evening when the fountains are illuminated.

Milan’s international Linate airport is a 1 hour 20-minute drive from the apartment and Milan Malpensa airport is 1 hour and 30 minutes away.
