  • Whoever said don't feed the animals never met this guy. Weeds, grass, or even fingers (Almost!!!), anything that fit in his mouth he would chomp down on. Hillcrest park had its 3rd annual family fun day, always the closest Saturday to the start of summer, and all admission was free! The park, zoo, and splash pad (great for the 100 degree weather we got), were all open to the public. Free tacos too. Bet this tortoise would've chomped down on those too.

John the manager was great about honoring the pet fee of 50 dollars that was listed on the site when i booked it months before. Pet fee i guess went up the day before to 90, when i first arrived the lady who checked me in said it was 150! She wasnt friendly AT ALL! room and area was great and

Room was great. Best part about it was it didn’t smell like people sweat. That’s rare in a hotel! Staff was kind. If they gave complimentary water in rooms I didn’t get that and bought water from them. Not sure if there’s supposed to be complimentary water or not. I will stay again. Very clean and modern.
