"We spent three nights at the Regent Chongqing at the end of a two-week trip across China, and the service here was the best we experienced anywhere. It started at check-in: the front desk team was genuinely warm and welcoming, and we were upgraded to a beautiful room. The room itself was immaculate — spotless in every corner — with an amazing view over the river and the city that we never got tired of. What really set this hotel apart was how attentive the team was throughout the stay. Any time we messaged on WeChat, they responded instantly. Every day they proactively sent us a message with the weather and advice on how to dress for it — a small thing, but it tells you everything about how much they care about their guests. We never had to chase, ask twice, or wait for anything. No complaints whatsoever. Thoughtful, responsive, and truly guest-focused — the Regent Chongqing set a standard that other hotels should aspire to, and we'd return without hesitation."

"We booked a room with 2 single beds and got upgraded to a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with a living room, a full kitchen and a pair of laundry machine. The unit was well equipped and has tons of storage. Very friendly staff. Overall we were happy with our 4-night stay. The hotel does show some signs of aging. The biggest withdraw is the tile floor in the shower - extremely slippery, so be careful!"

"The apartment is very nice and clean, and well equipped (microwave, boiling pot, fridge and freezer, and laundry machine for a long stay. They serve delicious buffet breakfast. Very nice view on the Yangzte river. Will definitely come back here."

"Got an upgrade to an executive suite and it was huge. Really enjoyed the amount of space and the amazing views out of the windows. Location was incredibly convenient near several metro stations and a short walk to Liberation Square. Buffet breakfast was flavourful, but I wish the food had been a touch warmer, highly recommend the soup option."
