"From arrival at reception everything was just perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was just what was needed. Room was good size. Beds were comfortable and clean. Had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was also good. Thank you and will definitely stay there again."

"Beautiful hotel in an excellent setting. The staff were exceptionally helpful. However, the room (room 24) was rather small, especially the bathroom, and the lighting was terrible creating deep shadows. The food in restaurant was very good, enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast"

"The hotel is very authentic, with wooden floors through out, steeped in history and very charming. The location is excellent if you do not have a car at your disposal, and the area has lots to see and find to do, will definately be visiting the area , and most probably the hotal again."

"This is a very busy hotel and spa but my room was comfortable, quiet and had everything you could want, the outdoor swimming pool was really lovely and I have to say that the short rib at dinner was really excellent and service was friendly and good. Sadly, the wine list was sub bog standard and breakfast was pretty poor but the golf course more than made up for a greasy fried egg."
