"This quaint old inn has a main building, where I stayed, and two modern buildings behind it. The restaurant on the first floor was great for dinner, especially on the front veranda. This was classic old-school with stately chair and decorum. I loved the bathtub and the bed. The desk and separate chair were well-placed, Glad for the experience."

"Very nice rooms, nice breakfast, nice swimming pool. We stayed Saturday and Sunday nights, and the hotel is not cheap, so I was taken a little aback that there as no.maid service on Sunday - no new towels and such. We wanted coffee pods for the next morning, and that took us a while to hunt down. Other than that, a great base for exploring Fort Ticonderoga!"

"Loved the quietness. Very relaxing and close to the Ticonderoga ferry on Lake Champlain on the Vermont side. The owners are very nice. Serves a fabulous breakfast every morning. Has a bar on property as it is a pub and offers food only Thursday to Sunday for an extra cost for those staying at the Inn and some locals in the area. The area is rural and lots of dairy farms in the area. There is an Exxon Mobil station less than a mile away that is quite large. You can also get food there. There is also a local Hardware Store and Dollar General Store."

"We stayed in one of the rooms in the Carriage House (as opposed to the Main House). It's by the road but wasn't too loud. The grounds are impeccably kept, with beautiful flowers and veggies growing everywhere. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast (shout-out to Linus for being the most friendly and welcoming server!). Beautiful porch spaces for eating and relaxing, including a great screened in porch off the back of the Main House where we enjoyed the sunset. The room was not huge but the bathroom was nice. The decor is funky and more on the modern end, so if you're looking for a traditional Victorian vibe, this isn't it. We enjoyed learning about the history of the home and the area, and catching a glimpse of Griswald, the Official Inn Cat."

"Enjoyed a three night stay with family. The listing is very accurate. This is glamping. If that is what you are expecting you should be delighted. Some nice additional highlights were an ample source of firewood, nice swings, a battery operated fan. Also, the shower was a pleasant surprise. I was not expecting a hot shower. It is a great system. I would say it provides about a one yard reservoir providing heated water. Very nice. Hosts were very helpful and went above and beyond to assure our comfort during a heat wave. Very private. It is clear the hosts put their heart and soul into the property, not to mention a lot of work. Great experience and would not hesitate to book again. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!"
