"Our experience at the Mercure Nanterre was very poor and certainly not a 4* experience. The hotel was previously a 3* hotel and this is clearly evident throughout. We arrived on a Sunday evening at 5pm to a closed hotel, with no entry possible except by waving to one of two hotel staff inside. The doors were kept closed as they did not anticipate any guests (despite our booking).
