"Great value. The grand canal (from Beijing to Hangzhou) is a couple of blocks behind the hotel. If you walk to the right, you will come across a great and under visited temple. If you keep going that way, you can pick up a boat at Zizhuyuan Park (or Black Bamboo Park, a free urban park) that will take you to the Summer palace for 100Yuan (closed from Ñov 1 to Spring)."

"Great service from staff, but whole hotel full of cigarette smelling."

"The hotel looks a bit old from the outside but in the inside it’s all new and well maintained. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Beds are firm and comfortable. Room is dark in the morning and 0 noise, the location is ideal to go visit the zoo. Breakfast buffet has a lot of options to choose from."

"Convenient location, good food"

"Excellent service and friendly."

"it was really good service! The room is clean and new!"

"A tidy and pleasant hotel. "

"All the staff were so nice and helpful! The housekeeping lady was especially friendly. She even tucked in my little Peking duck plushie that I left on the bed. Such a sweet gesture! Will definitely go back if we plan on going back to Beijing."

"Hotel not only offers washer and dryer for free but also they can help you do the cleaning if you are too busy to do yourself, very helpful staff. Location is good, I'm able to take bus from summer palace to hotel front door. Bus also goes to some other attractions door to door"
