"I didn’t know what to expect when I booked this, but I can say I was not disappointed! Having come from a busy resort on a nearby island, Villa Anakao was definitely more my vibe. The room was incredible. I loved sitting out on the terrace in the evening with a glass of wine. The food was also incredible. I truly felt like I was more than just a guest here. I wish I had spent more time here, and would love to come back one day!"

"We stayed in La Pirogue, Wolmer Mauritius as a family for 4 nights. Our stay was excellent and we found the resort exactly in the same condition as seen in the pictures. While there was a bit of confusion in the airport taxi pick up, but i wouldn't take away a single credit from this resort, its excellent amenities, courteous staff, and good food. The hospitality is top class, and the best part is that you can spend days in the resort with your family as they have so many things to do. La Pirogue made our vacation really memorable, and we would definitely stay if we returned to Mauritius again."

"From the moment we arrived to the time we left we couldnt have been more happy. Never having spent time in an all inclusive resort before, we couldn't belive how relaxed we became. The staff were fantastic especially the restaurant staff, and the food choice we were able to feed the kids without complaints. The hotel is rough around the edges but nothing impacted on our time. We come to Mauritius every two years and all the family have said they would return to the outrigger. Would i recommend this hotel, if you want absolute luxury and staff standing over your every move, no. But if you want a relaxed, calm, friendly hotel, that offers great value, great staff, absolutely."
