"Great staff and an amazing smell throughout the hotel."

"Overall a great stay at Palazzo Violetta. A ten minute walk to Sliema waterfront or Baletta Bay, so close to the tourist bars, restaurants and shops but also away from the hustle and bustle when you want a quiet night's sleep. Room was clean, spacious although a little dated - large solid wood desk and wardrobe. A really minor point overall. Breakfast was excellent and varied - although the coffee machine needs replaced as it regularly took 5 attempts to get it to part with an espresso! All the staff were excellent. Every single one courteous, polite and helpful. Would happily stay there again."

A special shout-out to Maria Belen at the front desk, who went above and beyond during every interaction. Her contagious smile and unwavering friendliness made our stay even more memorable. "The hotel is in an excellent location. Loads of bars, shops and restaurants nearby, beautiful harbour view from some rooms, and very close to many buses and ferries to Valletta. The hotel is new, and has great amenities, particularly great shower and is very clean. The best thing about the hotel though is the staff. I stayed nearly 2 weeks there and felt like some of them were old friends by the time i left. Particular mentions go to Naran who cleaned my room so well, to Niko on reception, always smiling and helpful, and Patricia the manager who not only sorted out a small problem with my initial room which was caused by a lack of clear description of the room by Expedia, but she also remembered it was my birthday mid stay, and even had a happy birthday balloon on my bed when i returned in the evening. Such a lovely touch. Thanks to all there. Top marks to everyone. "
