Casa di Giulio located in Vivo D'orcia is inside a characteristic hamlet belonging to the descendants of Pope Marcello Cervini, who bought the estate in 1534. The hamlet, located at 900 meters above sea level and surrounded by green trees, includes a suggestive castle designed by Antonio da San Gallo il Giovane and an ancient Romanesque church dating back to the 11th century.
One of the very few properties in Italy to have received the Quiet Stay Certificate from Quiet Park International ( QPI), for its silence and peace.
In this context, rich both from a historical and cultural point of view, and from a naturalistic point of view due to the luxuriant flora and fauna therein, we find four expertly restored dwellings (including Casa di Lilli and Casa dell'Ambasciatore that you can book together with Casa di Giulio in the case of large families or friends), mixing ancient and modern to make them comfortable and at the same time full of charm.Each house has its own outdoor space equipped with tables and chairs, while a beautiful saltwater pool (6x10) is shared among the residences that make up the hamlet.

Casa di Giulio located in Vivo D'orcia is a portion of farmhouse with independent entrance, recently restored mixing ancient and modern to make it particularly welcoming and at the same time full of charm.Ground floor: living room with fireplace which is accessed by a glass door; spacious kitchen with exterior opening; twin bedded room with bathroom with shower which is accessed via some steps. From here there is direct access to the external courtyard where there is also the dining table shaded by a pergola.First floor: passage bedroom with single bed; double bedroom with four-poster bed and en suite bathroom with shower.The saltwater shared pool of the estate is a 5 minute walk from the house.

Sehr schönes Haus mit einem kleinen "Aber"

Das Haus liegt ruhig in einer landschaftlich schönen Umgebung. Sehr gut um sich zu erholen. Es ist ausgesprochen schön restauriert und sehr gut ausgestattet, Die Betreuung durch Andrea war auch sehr positiv. Ein kleines "Aber" gibt es jedoch mit zwei Aspekten. 1) WLAN/WIFI Signal gibt es im Haus nur auf der Toilette im Obergeschoß (ist wirklich so) und schwach im Garten 2) Wir haben morgens eine Stunde die Heizung angehabt und desweiteren Gas für Warmwasser und Kochen verwendet. Wir haben an 4 Tagen im Mai damit ca. 8cbm Gas verbraucht - bei längerer Nutzung der Heizung kann es schnell sehr teurer werden (wir haben 30 bezahlt).
