"The best place to stay in Madrid "

"The hotel is very nice but if on the roadside it is very noisy all night with the windows open. There was no a/c so don’t know how hot it would be in the summer. The pool is small and shallow and the sauna is also vey small. Contrary to the information on Hotels there is no 24 hour shuttle to the airport. Instead the hotel will book you a taxi with a quoted cost of €33. We used the Metro from the station outside the hotel for €5 each. The hotel also tried to sell us breakfast with a discounted rate if we booked for everyday on arrival at€20 per person. There are plenty of alternatives locally that are much cheaper."

"Really great location near parks, transit and the royal palace. We used it as our hub for trips to other cities. Staff were really nice even though my Spanish is hardly worth attempting. They were also flexible about storage between our two stays. You could certainly use their breakfast buffet every morning, but we found a really nice cafe down the block that was great too."

"Everything was amazing. Except we were given a bathroom that was meant for people with disabilities so it was very uncomfortable and the hotel was sold out. As I told the staff, there are no pictures on the reservation suggesting we might get a disabilities bathroom or else I would have specified I needed a normal one. I traveled with a baby and it was extremely uncomfortable. As it is not a cheap stay, the hotel is supposed to tell you you might get that room, or leave it open for disabled people and only count on 4 single rooms for guests not 5. Other than that everything was amazing. "
