"Room was spotless clean, staff were very accommodating, breakfast was lovely. We did not realise the popularity of the bar and were disappointed to not be able to dine in the hotel the evening we stayed and had to drive to a nearby town for dinner. Would recommend that tables is booked in the restaurant or bistro for dinner. "

"The house was lovely - clean and well supplied with cooking implements. There were great views form the upstairs lounge as will as lots of comfy seating. The conservatory downstairs was also super comfy and got lovely and warm from the sunshine."

"Kay is a wonderful host. She was very responsive before, during and after our trip. The house was lovely, very clean and large enough for large family gatherings. She even put up a Christmas tree for us. We came for Christmas and had a wonderful time even though our family members had to cancel due to illness. The area is beautiful and Kay is very knowledgeable of the area and the best places to visit and eat! I would definitely recommend this lovely home and host for your family vacation. We will definitely be back to visit Kay."

"Scenic location just outside of Doonbeg and convenient to Kilrush and Kilkee. Fabulous great room on the second level with tons of seating and access to the deck outside with ocean views. Good showers and comfortable beds. Nice to have a utility room with washer, dryer and dishwasher behind a closed door. Very comfortable house- we enjoyed our stay a lot. Patrick is an amazing host. Super responsive and helpful. "

"It was an absolutely beautiful property is a nice location. The amenities within the property were sufficient. Where we had an issue was we arrived on a Saturday. By Wednesday we reported to the site manager the poor conditions of the 2 queen mattresses. They were inspected by the site manager and then reported to the property owner who visited a few days later. He acknowledged that the mattresses were “broken down” and should have been replaced. The owner said he would go to the furniture store on Monday for replacements. We never heard from him again for the remainder of our stay. "
