"Fantastic place! Didn’t know what to expect, but the room was perfect, comfy and clean. The car park is locked at night, so very secure. Pub was gorgeous, with a fantastic menu and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect stopover on our way to Scotland and will definitely stay again."

"Traveled from North Devon to see family in Carlisle, luckily we couldnt get into anywhere in Carlisle, and we found this which was about 10 miles away. The new owner of 3 weeks was on reception, he was lovely and couldn't be more helpful. The room and bathroom spotlessly clean. The barman was lovely and the bar well stocked. There was no breakfast available because of only being there 3 weeks, but were doing evening meals."
