"The room was clean, the location was fantastic. The room was large with nice views if you're on a high floor. The shower is very large and the bedding and towels were all clean. The bed mattress was firm but comfortable, however there could be more pillows A few things that were odd was the way to get in. You have to call a number to enter the hotel, and to access/buy a drink at the reception desk. Thankfully, the call will be answered swiftly. There was a leak in the bathroom of which we were told by staff while in the shower. The double bed is just two single beds pushed together, making it so you could fall down the center easily. Overall, the hotel was very nice, with a good location, views, room size and cleanliness. I didn't like that I had to call someone to be seen at the reception desk. The leak in the bathroom isn't great, but was fixed in the morning, and it can happen to any room. This stay is great for short stays and for travellers running on a budget."

"My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I appreciate a kettle and hairdryer that are not directly wired to the mains and can be moved. Having stayed at other hotels in Cardiff this is one I would return to."

"The signature rooms are very nice - spacious and with a balcony. Love the lounge and the good breakfast at Steak on Six. Sona was good for dinner, with superbly attentive staff, but it was a little overpriced. Our air con didn’t work and the pool changing rooms could do with a freshen up, but otherwise a very pleasant and relaxing stay."

"The Hotel is well located and easy to reach by car and an easy walk into city centre. The car park is a bonus, but very expensive! Our room was fairly sizeable for a group of 3. But the amount of tea and coffee provided needs to be improved. The bathroom, although fairly clean, was dated and in poor repair in some areas. The power of the shower was very poor, but the bath was excellent. Pool was lovely as was the steam room, sauna and jaquzzi, but was crowded at times due to half term holidays. No staff monitoring! In general a good stay, but the parking charges might put me off staying again"
