"Great clean cottage - exactly what it is advertised as .. right on the water - we spent all our time on the dock. The outside spaces were great. The cottage was functional and had all appliances etc we needed. The small town was sweet and did great local takeout. Thanks for a great few days :)"

10/10 Excellent
"This is a beautiful, comfortable, and well kept place. It provided us with the peaceful weekend getaway we wanted. Easy to find and everything is as described. Getting down and back up from the dock is not recommended for anyone who is not in reasonable shape as it really is a steep climb on rickety stairs. The only unfortunate thing for us was not checking further into the boat launch situation as there was not a practical solution for an inflatable fishing boat. If you are using a regular motorized boat, you will find a boat launch about a 10 minute drive away."

"This was a boutique hotel that has been well kept. The manager was very communicative and made sure we had all the information we needed. The room had charm and was very clean (we stayed in the canopy room). There is a rooftop area with chairs and an outdoor seating area. The breakfast was a great start to our day. I would highly recommend a stay in this hotel and a tour of the town of Campbellford."

Cozy Cottage on the Trent River.

10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic spot on the Trent River. We had plenty of space with 6 people. Well stocked and clean. Huge yard with lots of seating and great sunset view. And still close to town in case supplies are needed. Swimming was great, but with the very soft bottom and potential zebra muscles, swim shoes are a must. Mark was a great host and replied to messages quickly. We enjoyed our time!"

"Overall a good experience for us in a great area!Pros: Great location on the Trent River Nice shared beach and dock with option to use paddle boards which my partner enjoyedAir conditioned was a much needed amenity in the heatRon was a very helpful onsite contact Located close to both Campbellford and Warkworth which were adorable small towns with great shops, cafes, dining, and activities Appreciated it was pet friendly so we could bring our two small dogs We appreciated the provided k cups for coffee! Only small negatives were a few minor cleanliness issues that could’ve been better - some dead bugs in drawers, a few dirty pots/pans, and a bit of a mildew-y smell in the washroom Shower had a slanted roof so challenging for my partner who is 6’ as he had to crouchWe were told on day two that beach was not pet friendly - which we totally didn’t mind bringing our dogs back to the cabin but wished we had known in advance Overall the stay was pleasant and relaxing in a good location and we appreciated being guests here!"
