"What a lovely cosy, friendly place to stay. A good choioce for breakfast (full English was delicious using local ingredients) in the dining area with the log fire on. The staff are so nice and really make you feel welcome. Plenty of free parking outside accomodation and lots of walks nearby. Thankyou for an enjoyable weekend break."

"Chris was very welcoming on our arrival and gave us some great advice on local walks etc. The accommodation was pristine, certainly lives up to the advertising pictures. Very cosy with everything anyone would need. Fabulous views from the barn which were lovely to wake up to each morning. Local pub just a few minutes walk up the road, very welcoming and serving great food. Would 100% recommend the barn at Mead Farm."

"A well decorated, comfortable cottage in Hope village and we enjoyed our stay. We had some difficulties with communication initially though that appears down to Hotels.com as opposed to the host. I ended up making contact on an alternative rental platform and from then on the host was quick to respond to my messages. There is no welcome book in the cottage so there was no indication as how to leave the property or where to put recycling etc which would have been helpful. Having both a bath mat and hand soap in each bathroom would also have been useful. There was also no tea bags or instant coffee in the property. I had assumed this was the norm as I have never not had it supplied before, especially given it wasn’t a cheap listing, but that could be solved the following day when the shops were open. "
