"Building is in disarray, with things left all over the place. No one was at the front desk. Towels were not changed and our room was not refreshed for our second night. I planned to use my credit card but was told the machine wasn’t working and I had to pay cash, but wasn’t given a receipt. (I was finally emailed a receipt a day later, after I insisted on one.) I never did received the change from my cash payment. It was all quite strange."

"In a central location yards from the Main St and minutes walk from two restaurants/ pubs and several local shops. A very comfortable room with a large bathroom and shower. The hosts were friendly and helpful and provide a very good choice of breakfast options. Definitely recommended!!"

"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well.
