The Ramnee hotel was an excellent stay for us while we toured the highlands. The hotel has a ton of character and our room was excellent. There are a few things to walk to from the hotel, but a car is a benefit to go into town. The staff was excellent and we enjoyed our stay.

My room had a four poster bed which I loved and the view from my window allowed me see the lights of Findhorn way off in the distance. I had a restful sleep and the staff were helpful and friendly

Warm friendly staff in a great location. Building getting tired. En-suite very old but clean shower sub optimal pressure and flow. No shampoo or conditioner in bathroom which for price point would have expected and was an inconvenience. Veggie breakfast was good. French toast disappointing. The staff were lovely and had great attitudes. A mixed experience

Disappointed with the room.

2 nights stay. Room was very dated, tired and in much need of renovation. Marks on the walls and bathroom shower had such low pressure it was unusable. Tap pressure was fine, so nothing to do with Scottish water.... just need a pump for the shower! The toilet also did not flush and had a sticker on it saying to try a few times!! Even so it was very hit or miss. We highlighted the issues with the room to reception the next morning and were moved to another room, which was at least functional! Very overpriced for the condition of the hotel. Front garden nicely kept and staff friendly and helpful.

We only stayed one night. The staff we amazing but the property does need updated and the fact they gave me my peach schnapps with tonic water instead of lemonade and the half pint shandy with tonic water as well was disappointed as I was not asked if this was ok. I did query when I took my drink and knew it wasn't right. Was given an apology but not the point. Don't think we will stay again. (Yes I know they are still recovering from COVID) just hope they can improve with feedback
