"Late check-in but staff were welcoming and friendly. Ensured car was correctly logged and talked about discount offer for breakfast at partner site. Room was clean, water hot and bed comfortable, only slight inconvenience was a trailer lorry moving early in the morning, but as was at a motorway service station I guess this was to be expected, however managed to go back to sleep, and fan worked effectively. Staff member around in the morning to sort out voucher. "

"Excellent service and facilities, from start to finish. Free little gifts and water bottles to keep hydrated were a lovely and much appreciated surprise. The evening meal (lamb with side of creamed leeks & brocolli) and mocktail were amazing, probably the best ever. Car park was not entirely clear, but worked out in the end, except for there were no electric charging points free, in either of the hotel or adjacent council car parks."

"This hotel was a perfect find. We wanted to stay near, but not in, Southampton for a cruise the next day. and we happened upon this gem. It is in the heart of a very quaint, clean little village, perfect for relaxing after flying over from the US. The staff was exceptional"
