Spacious, pet friendly with views

This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.

This spacious beach house boasts room for all the family with open plan kitchen, 2 living areas, 4 bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.

Features of this luxury home are: large master bedroom with King bed and ensuite, 3 other bedrooms with 2 Queen and 2 Single beds. There is also a single bed in the downstairs lounge allowing a total of 9 guests.

The kitchen is extremely well stocked with ample crockery, cutlery, bowls and dishes, coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher. There are ceiling fans throughout and the laundry has a top load washer and clothes dryer.

WIFI supplied and the house is fully airconditioned.

The front and back yards are both securely fenced and the garage has internal access.

* Pets allowed. No more than 2 dogs.
* If Wifi is offered it is a complimentary extra. As there is no charge, issues will be dealt with ASAP but cannot be guaranteed.
* To ensure the comfort of guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for ''Schoolies'' breaks/under 21 yrs groups.

We enjoyed our three nights in this delightful Pt Lookout home with our three generations of family. Great beds, spacious living areas, well stocked kitchen. Convenient enough for Pt Lookout shops and cafes. We were very happy here despite the progressively deteriorating weather. We had a very good time. Thanks.

Such a great house - especially if you have a dog and/or a big group. It was such a nice touch to have the doggie door access to the secure yard. The 2 living areas were really useful when folks wanted to watch something different on the TV or have quiet time on one of the lounges with a book. The kitchen was one of the best I've seen in a holiday home - so much equipment, 2 fridges and the knives were even sharp. I can't wait to book again and stay even longer.

Huge and spacious house, pet friendly, but no ocean views

House is huge, spacious and clean. Check in and check out was easy. Ad states oceanviews but unfortunately the trees across the road have grown so much that they block the whole view from the deck (which was unfortunate for whale watching season). There was a partial view from the kitchen window, but defeats the purpose of booking an oceanview house where you cant see it from the main deck. Lots of stairs, which was fine for us, but FYI . Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could think of plus 2 fridge/freezers. Pet friendly houses are few and far between at Straddie, but this was a lovely modern house and great for pets (as long as they can walk stairs). The doggy door allowed access from laundry to the secured mini yard. We recommend this place, esp for a large family or group of friends / couples with their furry pets. Also, the Off leash beach is a short 3 min drive just down the hill.

house was clean enough recliner don't work tvs not working up stair lounge very worn needs up grading stove and dish washer needs up grading very thing is well used carpet in up stair lounge needs renewing had a smell to it we removed it and put it in the garage for the stay.Had a grate stay staddie is a great place

Love Straddie

Amalfi was well presented, clean and spacious. It was well appointed with laundry and kitchen appliances and utensils which allowed my extended family to enjoy and celebrate a Significant birthday.

Not so dog friendly

The cleanliness is very substandard. The lounge suite upstairs is broken. The BBQ had to be scrubbed before we could use it. Over 3 levels with no carpet on the stairs, I had to carry my small dogs downstairs to the tiny grassed area to do their business. There was a lot of dog poo left on the lawn which was very disappointing. It is a great house and well positioned. It just needs a good clean and some new furniture. I would not recommend it being pet friendly.

Great spot to stay

We were an extended family of 9 across 3 generations, plus 2 dogs. Short walk to the beach, central location. The house was clean and well stocked for dining and cookware etc. Plenty of space. Would definitely go again.

Comfortable family stay

Fantastic!

This beautiful house was immaculate, fantastic for a group or two. Close to shops, the pub, the beach. Looked exactly as photos & then some. Great for our dogs. Never left them unattended in the yard due to the amount of wildlife around the area. Always checked the yard before letting them out. Koalas, kangaroos, lizards. Amazing to wake up to. I wish the council wouldn’t plant trees on footpaths that grow up & block out such incredible views! Just ridiculous. They should cut them down & replace with sensible shrubs or keep them all trimmed down. Wonderful house & that was our first trip to Straddie but certainly not our last. Thank you for opening your stunning home to us & pets. Not enough people do this. Thank you!

Chilled family holiday with the fur baby .

Ideal location , off leash dog beach within easy walking distance ( home beach ) slight hill on return ! Well equipped kitchen . Enough room and space for the 6 adults with 2 living areas. Lots of equipment for the beach which was very handy , shades , chairs , beach trolley and boogie boards . Contact number and welcome note left by agents who we had to call with an issue , which they quickly and easily resolved . 5 min drive to main beach , RSL and 3 min to foodworks . Great house for a lovely chilled holiday with our adult family and fur baby . Definitely recommend.

Great family home

We had a couple of families stay at this property and it was big enough for everyone to have their own space. The backyard is fully secured, so we felt comfortable leaving our dog outside. The house is also a short walk or drive from the off-leash dog beach so a perfect place to stay with your pooch.

Amalfi beach house

Great location and the house was very clean and very well appointed. The fact that we could have our dog there on holidays with us was the reason we booked it. The only problem we had while we were there was there was no Airconditioning in the bedrooms, therefore the master bedroom was extremely hot and so was the 4th bedroom on the lowest level. Also the gas bottle was empty so we couldn’t use the bbq. Other than that the house was great.

FABULOUS HOUSE - EVERYTHING YOU NEED

We were two families - 4 adults, 5 kids and a small dog. Plenty of covered space for the dog and we felt comfortable leaving her alone outside when needed (previous “dog-friendly” stays on straddie haven’t been as suitable). We had shocking weather for first few days but the house had ample space for everyone plus games and all the cooking equipment you could think of. It really made for a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Perfect home for a large group or family gathering. The fully equipped kitchen, beautiful furnishings and spacious layout of the home made our holiday experience a real pleasure. We would gladly go back to this property as it was perfect in every way.
