"The room was adequate. The decorate and carpet need refreshing. Just a shame the swimming pool has restried opening times, closed for swimmi lessons. apart from that it is positioned well near the M4 and quiet."

"We loved staying in this 13th century inn. We were given a room in the original section of the inn - amazing wattle and daub walls, original timber work and wonky floors! The River Avon flows past the front of the Rose and Crown property. A beautiful settling and a privilege to be able to stay here! If you love history, this is the place to stay in Salisbury."

"Great location with parking Tea/Coffee in the room, but no biscuits Hot shower, large bath towels Large TV, no easy chair in Kingsize Classic room, possibly as room was a little small Bed was good and enough power points Very good breakfast, but dining area dimly lit. Nice option on how eggs are cooked"

"The hotel is in a great location. Staff were wonderful. There was ample parking with only a £3 charge. A local convenience store if needed just over the road. The only downside to my visit was the bed, we felt the springs and the duvet didn't fit that size bed"

"The Wiltshire gave me what I needed - an evening meal and a comfortable room within easy distance of the REME Museum. I had to skip breakfast as I had to leave at 7:20 on the Saturday, and breakfast did not start till 8am at the weekend."
