The Queens Hotel

"A fairly basic but perfectly good hotel. Very well positioned in the town. Lovely views. My twin room was spacious and airy. I could have done with being able to open the window more, as I felt rather warm! It was lovely to be able to see the sea from my room and hear the waves. Really good breakfast included, cooked to order. Perfect poached eggs! Great place for a relaxed stay. Just don't expect anything too polished or modern!"

The Mustard Tree

"We had a good welcome by Mark on our arrival who took time to tell us about the area and transport. The room was comfortable and clean and had a fridge with fresh water and milk everyday. Very good choice of breakfast, cooked and presented well. There is also private parking on the grounds. The Mustard tree is located within walking distance for the train station and also a beautiful walk along coast to St. Ives. Also there are plenty of beaches in the local area."

"The only thing I didn’t like was the stale, musty smell coming from the sofa and armchair, which spread throughout the entire bungalow. Otherwise , close to beach, accesible parking 5m away from the bungalow, And everyting tou need in the kitchen if you'd like to cook something."

"This hotel lived up to it's billing standards are very high in all areas there is no lift which could be a problem for some visitors. I would use it again."

"The staff were so incredibly helpful and kind and we ended up being able to park in the hotel parking lot, which was a nice surprise. The room definitely needed to be updated and didn’t match the photos (we had a huge shag carpet in our room over the original rug which was clearly used to cover a big stain but honestly really kind of gross). I wouldn’t say our room was all that clean but the bedding was spotless and the bed itself was comfortable. Location was fantastic, right across from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was standard (coffee was bad). Again, can’t state enough how friendly and helpful the staff were."

"The cottage exceeded our expectations. Very clean and had everything we needed, the board games and jigsaws were appreciated after a busy day exploring. We loved the art in the cottage and inspired us to replicate some at home. Contact with the host and check in was easy. We would certainly stay here again. Thank you"
