"The facility is lovely and the service was beyond compare. The spa was among the very best I’ve been to, and the on site restaurant is excellent. It’s a bit of a walk to sites, but worth it to be removed from the crowds and have beautiful grounds with a pool. The hotel lives up to its 5-star rating."

"This was a hidden gem. Our 3-night stay at the Utopian in Porto was wonderful. The property is affordable, chic, and gives one a truly bespoke experience. Though there is no front desk staff, they are very communicative via e-mail and were available to answer questions. The room was quite spacious and clean and the 5-star bed was perfect after a long days worth of walking and clocking in 20k steps each day. I really loved the big windows as it let in sunshine and natural light and fresh...

"Warm hospitality, uniquely designed, intimate, lovely private balcony and delicious breakfast included. Good restaurants within walking distance. We would happily stay here again."

" Good location, nice apartment Ms. ines is the best host I've ever met It gave me a lot of recommendations for information and restaurants "

"Host is very nice. Property so close to metro very convenient. Room is clean and comfortable. Bed is medium firm which is perfect for me. Washroom always available to use. Kitchen has everything also. Only thing is please correct the info on expedia: there is no laundry, no breakfast, no luggage storage."

"Nice big apartment. "

"The property was amazing. They are still working on it so not everything was available or complete. Our room was clean with ample space. We did not get to use the tub but it was so pretty and inviting. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. It was a sit down breakfast that was catered and served to us. I would highly recommend although we did have an unfortunate incident. In the middle of the night as it was raining outside, water came pouring into our room and I do mean pouring. We...

"Very old and beautiful building (well maintenance shown) very good location, walkable to the points of interest in a hilly town!! Good public transportation in front of the building, cheap taxis, don’t forget to ride the “tranvías” specially route 18 to see the sunset in the Atlantic Ocean"

"I can’t say enough good things about staying at Canto de Luz. Hannah, Susana, McKenzie, and everyone there were so kind, warm, and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The location was perfect- close to restaurants and sites but far away enough to also be relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and felt like eating a homecooked meal at home. Susana and Hannah took their time to make sure our check-in went smoothly through email and in-person when we...

"Staff amazing. Breakfast was good. Location beautiful inside."

"Lovely place. We had a room overlooking the garden."

"The breakfast was presented very elegant and the fruits were very fresh and delicious. The room layout is very unique."

"Helpful staff! Nice rooms"

"Hotel is lovely, staff very welcoming, deco very fresh, beds so comfortable, great breakfasts. Lovely roof top pool although weather wasn’t great for us we did enjoy a drink on the terrace. Only negative could be for some is that it’s a 15-20 min walk to centre but the metro station is close by and uber also cheap. We like walking so not a problem for us."
