"Everything was fantastic. The only negative is the water is too soft, impossible to get soap rinsed off in shower. Breakfast was excellent, coffee was excellent, bed was very comfortable. Room was clean, spacious. (Single King) Shower was very roomy with adjustable stream, (water way too soft) which seems to be typical anymore. We are looking forward to going back."

"Room and beds were great. Everything very clean. Breakfast was basic, but plenty for us — no hot food but breakfast croissants to heat up in micro. Coffee, juice, cereal, toast, boiled eggs, packaged pastries. Parking was safe and adequate. Location is great being right on the Main Street through town. Only disconcerting thing is that you have to call back to the main lodge to get help if needed—there is no front desk on site. But we never needed anything so it didn’t matter."

"We spent one night at the Carlisle Inn at Walnutcreek. It was fabulous. Very clean and neat. The staff were all sweet and very helpful. The room was large and spacious. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. They also had a breakfast and snacks in the evening. We will certainly be going back to stay."
