"Two seconds after I booked I realized the app glitched and booked the wrong date. I immediately contacted the hotel and expeia after which the hotel immediately went zero contact with both Expedia and myself. I wasn’t even trying to get my money back I just needed to change dates. "Staff were super helpful and friendly. Biggest issue is the bed - very overdue for replacement. We could feel the springs and there was a very clear dip from use over time. Pillows weren’t much better. I don’t expect a lot from a hotel bed, but this was rough"

"Beautiful place along Lake Erie. Love that it's in the water. Fun bar next door. Lots of places to walk or benches/swings to sit and enjoy the views. The sunset in the swimming cove was lovely. Nickel Beach down the road was nice ($7 parking) and cleaner than the beach by the hotel. Plenty of places to eat in Sandusky which is 11 minutes away. Typical breakfast, clean room and extremely comfy beds. Worth the stop!"
