"This hotel is overated considerably. Interior is well maintained but the room furniture is cheap and falling apart. The exterior of the hotel has been totally neglected. In fact the whole time we were there, there was a large garbage container just outside the front entrance, full of broken furniture. Previously we had been shown a hotel that was rated considerably lower, that puts this hotel to shame."

"The property is beautiful and although the building is old, the rooms were updated with modern finishes. We used the amenities, including the pool. We rented e-bikes, and it was convenient, if a little expensive. Staff were very helpful, including providing advice on local bike routes. We had breakfast one morning in the dining room. Unfortunately, it was a very busy day, and some food was not available as it was quickly taken by the many other guests that morning. The bar/lounge in the lobby...

"No safe in the room, no partition/curtain on the shower (flooded every use), no soap in the downstairs restaurant/hotel toilet at all from Mon - Fri, very inadequate lighting in that same toilet, the lights in our room completely broken (and insane looking), gaps at top and bottom of toilet door - no privacy in toilet, on checkout our luggage was buried beneath others in a broom cupboard - damaged items, staff refused to order a cab for us, the lamp in the room was uselessly dim and obscene,...
