"We arrived on a Monday in March, so it was very quiet. It seemed there may have been 1 other guest in the lake view lodge. The lake was still frozen, so it was very peaceful and beautiful. The room was large and spacious and evening seemed very new. The bathroom had an extractor fan for steam which was so nice. I stay in hotels all the time, including many 5-stars, and nobody includes extractor fans anymore, which is preferred when sharing a room with others. The shower was a pick tricky to figure out (even with signage taped to the mirror for how to work it), and the in room coffee station could use restocking with creamers and coffee stirs, but the little continental breakfast at checkout was lovely. A fridge stocked with eggs and yogurts, plus lots of coffee, muffins, granola, and cereal. We had a very nice stay. Most convenient place to Vermont State Castleton. "
