St George's Hotel

"On arrival, we found out about the rooftop suites so changed for the rest of our stay - fabulous suite with mega bathroom and balcony looking directly over the sea. The weather was kind to us so we were able to use the balcony every day. Even if the weather hadn’t been good it’s still great to look out to see and all across the promenade. Without exception, every member of staff we encountered was smiley, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, with the sausage and bacon done to a lovely colour unlike some of the insipid specimens we see elsewhere. My husband was very complimentary about his kipper on our last morning and I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on 2 days - again, very good. Small point, but they had the best auto-toaster we’ve come across - just the right setting for perfect toast. On our next visit to Llandudno we will definitely use the St George again. Thanks to everybody there."

"The property is a bit dated but great value. The breakfast is probably the best I’ve ever had in any hotel anywhere in the world (seriously). Vegan and vegetarian options unlike anywhere in Britain. There’s plenty for the omnivores, too. Great location, albeit a bit windy to find it up the hills. Friendly staff and wonderful service. Would absolutely stay again."

"Excellent staff service from the check in to the departure. Room was spacious and restaurant was welcoming with great views. Food was served quickly and hot, with great flavour and presentation. Will definitely be returning on my next visit to North Wales"

"We were surprised to find that guests have to pay an additional fee for parking. The building is quite old, so the ventilation wasn’t great and the room felt quite stuffy. Even though it was already the end of August, the room still felt quite warm and poorly ventilated. At night, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from the hotel kitchen downstairs, which was quite disturbing. Apart from these points, the staff were all very nice and friendly."
