A few issues with our room/hallway itself- room wasn't cleaned too well as we found a empty fifth of whiskey under one bed, bathroom light was out which the rooms light didn't offer much, the exterior doors being secured each night was a hit or miss, and seemed to have deferred maintenance from water damage on the hallway from the our bathroom."

"Returned to the Invernaire after a 42 year absence. Plenty remained the same as I remember it in nothing but a good way and also several updates like the en suite washroom especially. Last time it was one shower for the entire upper floor. The view from my cozy little room- Ben Wy was spectacular as was the one from the dining room. Carol was especially helpful from the time I checked in until I left. Breakfast were A-1. Best tea I’ve ever tried and was reunited with black pudding. Miss that taste!!! I fantastic 4 days. I’ll be back again and won’t wait as long. I recommend the Invernairne to anyone who visits the beautiful little town of Nairn!!"

"For an unknown reason receiving the entry details was difficult but eventually successful. The room was clean and the facilities were very good. The decor won’t please everyone but the invisible staff refreshed towels and drinks efficiently. Aware that no food service was available the presence of the fridge was helpful to store our own items. Didn’t try the recommended place for breakfast. It was a fair price to reach Findhorn and Forres for the festival. When the noise issue was mysteriously fixed it was a comfortable stay."
