A very comfortable stay at this hotel, made all the better by a very pleasant, attentive and courteous team of staff throughout my stay. Not had great experiences at other Greene King Inns I've visited, but I'll have no hesitation in returning to The Cedars Inn again. Well done Cedars!

I was a bit wary staying at a pub chain but any reservations (except that for my room) were quickly rendered moot when I entered the grounds. The property is set back from the main road with a good drive leading to several parking areas. After checking in I moved my car to the parking near the accommodation which was several buildings surrounding a courtyard area. My room was was nice and clean although I couldn't access the internet on my laptop for work. The bathroom was especially nice with a fantastic shower which I used after a nice, hour long walk around the area. The £108 I paid included the room, breakfast and also dinner which comprised of 3 courses. I only paid extra for drinks which constituted fantastic value for money. A great night's sleep was followed by a great breakfast leaving me very satisfied with my choice of destination.

The staff were very pleasant and my room was nicely appointed. From looking at the menu, I knew that the food was going to be of a low grade standard. Nothing to complain about - just your average Greene King fayre. Unfortunately, Monday night was Bingo night so the bar was rammed with Bingo players. I didn’t feel that enough resources were brought in for the evening so the wait to get was quite long. I would consider staying again.
