  • Adorable cottage on Route 6A, 'The Old King's Highway', in the picturesque village of Cummaquid, in the town of Barnstable on Cape Cod. Ideal for two, combination living room, bedroom, kitchen with separate bath with shower, outdoor barbeque, cable TV, internet. Situated at the foot of the owner's 13 acre property. Pretty area, rural feel, but close to food shopping, resturants and recreational activities, such as bike path, golf, beaches. Walk across the street and take a stroll to a quiet bay side beach through the fields of MA Audubon’s Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary. Two miles to Barnstable Village and 1 mile to Yarmothport Villages. Close to beaches, whale watching, golf, and art galleries. Great area for walking, biking and kayaking.

This was a very cute little home that met our needs. The proximity to the ferry to get to Nantucket was fantastic. It was also very centrally located to the rest of the Cape. We would highly recommend this home!

Very cute cottage located in Central Cape Cod which made it easy to go different places on the cape. The host Maggie was prompt in answering our messages. This is a great place for couples or a single traveler.

Perfection in Cape Cod

The home was very clean… plenty of bedding and towels… location was excellent for day trips…village close to home with anything you might need. Our host was available and very helpful…we would absolutely return to this home!

Great stay!

Property owner was excellent to work with. Property was very clean and well maintained. Central location on cape. Comfortable bed and everything i needed to cook breakfast was on hand. Lovely cottage and beautiful grounds. Will definitely not hesitate to book again. Amazing place to stay while on Cape Cod.

Perfect little cottage

The cottage is simple yet perfect. Central on the cape and accessible to everything we wanted to see. Beautifully decorated. Comfy bed. Plentiful windows letting in lots of light. And Maggie was great to work with. We loved our stay at Maggie’s cottage!

Absolutely sublime

Lovely Cottage/Perfect Location

Maggie's cottage was very lovely, and perfect for two people. Clean, well organized, quiet, and simply charming. Its location spot on 6A in the historic area of Barnstable Village was perfect. Adorable cottage exceeds expectations!!

The cottage is truly adorable. Comfy, cozy and fully equipped for my stay which was over 30 days. The owners who is the property manager is attentive and wonderful to work with. Everything was first rate such flat screen TV, high speed WIFI, plush white bathroom towels, the spices, the furniture and the comfort of the bed. I love to walk. Easy to cross 6A and walk the Long Pasteur trails every day. Beach is 1 mile walk down Bone Hill Road. Cottage is in a perfect location; 2 miles to Barnstable Village, 1 mile to a top restaurant Leonessa and 2 miles to Old Yarmouth Inn. Highly recommend.
