"Excellent stay at this hotel (2 nights in July). We were especially grateful for the aircon which is far from standard in UK hotels. Everything was of standard you would expect from a property like this. Staff were impressive and the room spacious, tasteful and clean. Will be back on our next visit to the city."

"This hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location! The breakfast room/restaurant room is absolutely stunning!! The bedrooms are beautiful too, with a great en-suite and comfortable bed. The only things that let it down are the really bad wi-fi (not great when you’re trying to look up routes for exploring the area or restaurants to go to) and no mini fridge in the room (mainly for medication that needs to be refrigerated). If those could be fixed this place would be perfect!!!"

"The hotel & the rooms are very nice, my only negative comment would be the rooms are too warm - there is a fan in the room, but it’s not very powerful. Even with the windows open it wasn’t cooling down (it wasn’t overly hot outside - about 24/25 degrees) Apart from that, I couldn’t fault it."

"Our room was very pleasant (third floor, with views over the surroundings). All the staff we met were personable without being pushy - very nice. The hotel is well-placed for getting to the city centre. It was also nice that we didn't have to decide if we wanted breakfast until the morning. We'll stay here again."
