Staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. It’s an older building but still well maintained and kept clean. Great continental breakfast, excellent pick for dinner as well.
Charming hotel; comfortable room with amazing views. Host was very welcoming and helpful. They provided an earlier breakfast due to our departure time. Food was delicious. Highly recommend.
Travelled from Amsterdam with my young child. Arrived during dinner service, and the head chef came and helped us get settled. Really comforting. Day of departure we left early and again owner came to help and gave us early access to breakfast room. Awesome start to a long day traveling onto to Prague.
This was an amazing place to stay! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They even accommodated an earlier-than-scheduled breakfast for us on the morning we departed, which we really appreciated.
The food was delicious. Supper was a bit pricey, but after tasting it, we felt it was completely worth it! We were also impressed by how quiet the room was. Despite being near the train tracks, the windows were so thick that we only really heard the trains when we opened them.
Most of all, the hospitality stood out. Everyone we encountered was warm, charming, and genuinely helpful—just like Bacharach itself. We loved our stay and would happily return!
The chef at this hotel is excellent. Rooms are older and smaller but very close to the river cruise. With the Amazon dinner offering it is worthwhile
It is better to take Ubers to come here from the Frankfurt Airport for about 130 euros. Taxi will cost around 230. If you don’t have a car, taxis can be limited so it’s better to book at least 48 hours in advance.
I probably will rent a car to come here next time
It was a great stop to explore the UNESCO Rheine River valley!
We absolutely loved staying here. The owner is a joy who made us feel like guest in his home. Incredible restaurant with some of the best meals I have tasted.
The hotel was lovely and the staff was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay again. We took a boat ride and hiked various trails. Very quiet at night
Fantastic hospitality. Amazing dining for breakfast and dinner. Beautiful location for our stay in Bacharach. Many hotels are near the railway, we had a room not to close to the track and it was just fine.
This is a delightful hotel with a central location and a wonderful restaurant.

Best hotel of the 7 during our trip. Parking was easy, the best restaurant in Bacharach is in their lobby, and they have air conditioning! Overall a very nice property and value.
Cute hotel close to the Rhine and cruises, train station, and restaurants. Hotel has wonderful restaurant with local, slow food. Owner is friendly and helpful. Room is comfortable.
The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and coffee was waiting for us at the table in the morning. So glad we booked this place. We truly felt welcomed.
We loved our stay with Andreas. It was a great first stop for us. The dining is amazing. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The walk around Bacharach was delightful. Great access by train up and down the Rhine. We would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

We really love this hotel and this experience we had a view that wants to die for. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The only problem was the minimal extremely tight parking.
