"Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had a ground level room and appreciated not having to carry our luggage up stairs. Breakfast was typical fare and the coffee was very good. The town area is a short walk away. We would stay again."

Lovely hotel
"Spacious clean hotel within walking distance of small local shops and restaurants. Quiet location. Room was large and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was great. Small negative in that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room."

"We checked into to the hotel on Sunday, October 1st after a 5 hour drive. The self check-in worked fine and we retreived our key. However, upon entering the room, we discovered that the room had not be cleaned from the prior guest. The sheets were dirty, there were pizza boxes in the trash, the towel ..."

Bacharach is a very small and quiet town, with tons of cobblestone! When rolling suitcases, there is a small paved walkway we discovered after check-in so not to disturb the entire town haha!

Definitely worth the walk up to the town wall to see the majestic view of the valley.

If you want to get away and off the beaten path, then this quaint little picturesque village is the place for you. We found it difficult to communicate in English here and past 6:00pm the shops and most restaurants are closed.
