"We loved this hotel. It was easy to access, cheap parking across the street and a short walk to the main areas of town. We had a private porch with a view up the mountain. We slept well and enjoyed our time there. Notes for other travelers: the parking machine is $4 per day but only takes coins; ..."

"The whole weekend was a succes in this wonderful housing. Everybody had a room with bathroom and shower. Breakfast, lunch, aperitief and dinner outside on the terrace. Perfect."

Bacharach is a very small and quiet town, with tons of cobblestone! When rolling suitcases, there is a small paved walkway we discovered after check-in so not to disturb the entire town haha!

Definitely worth the walk up to the town wall to see the majestic view of the valley.

If you want to get away and off the beaten path, then this quaint little picturesque village is the place for you. We found it difficult to communicate in English here and past 6:00pm the shops and most restaurants are closed.
