Our one critical callout: If you plan frequent Marrakesh exploration, factor in the distance. This sanctuary is prohibitive for daily sightseeing. Expect about 2 hours round-trip travel, costing 300 to 900 MAD via the hotel's affiliated transport company. They are professional and reliable, but with no local options, these costs and times add up quickly for non-stop tourists. Palais Amador is ideal for a relaxing getaway where the experience on-site is paramount."

"We would go back in a heartbeat. Everything was great. If you need alcohol, you need to bring your own but they blend fresh juices for you that are great. It's a quiet oasis. An overgrown tropical garden just outside the city. It's a taxi ride into the city and back but you could spend all day at the riad and not feel like you're missing anything. The staff is warm, inviting and authentic."
