"The was a quaint (267 sq ft) unit within a block of the beach. It was quiet, comfortable, and the fire pit was nice in the cool mornings and evenings. I booked through Expedia, not VRBO, and had disconnects with the host. I attempted to cancel my reservation on two occasions outside of the 2-week, non-refundable period listed on Expedia (and my receipt). Both requests were met with resistance so I stayed the course and kept my reservation. Fortunately, I read a review indicating that...

"We had a wonderful day at this Avila Beach apartment! Quiet, clean, comfortable. Had great pots and pans and kitchen utensils. The air conditioner and fans work great. Nice bathroom and shower. The king size bed is really comfortable. Our teenage boys say the sofa bed is not the most comfortable thing, but sofa beds rarely are! We love being able to walk into the town and the sunset views from the deck were lovely! We look forward to returning!"
